About the artist:
"Born and raised in Chico, Rachel has remained constantly immersed in the local happenings of the Psychedelic sub-culture. She pursues the avenues of expressing her inner workings in ways english does not suffice. Harboring an uncanny knack for portraying the deeper seated emotions and themes most would attempt to suppress. Her desire to communicate intangible thoughts led to deeper and more abstract expressions of those emotions that governed her. She has subjected herself to countless states of existence to better understand the strife in contrast to the rural upbringing she was granted." ~Kevin Kohler

Chico State University (2005-2008, 2009-2010) Studied under, Vernon Patrick, Eileen MacDonald, James Kuiper, Robert Herhusky, Jerome Pouwles, David Hoppe, Weston Thomson, and Edie Overturf.
San Jose State University (2008-2009) Studied under Leroy Parker, John Clapp.
Critical Thinking (8th, 9th, and 10th edition) by Brooke Noel Moore and Richard Parker. I was featured each time for a different artwork I created that was included and explained in this college textbook.
